Sarah is 23 and lives in Provo with her husband Nick and many surrounding family members attending college. Some of her favorite things are board and card games, spending time with her family, playing videos games with her husband, and watching movies. Sarah has been dancing for about 18 years in a wide variety of styles. Throughout the years she has taught and danced in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, clogging, American folk dance, modern, various ballroom styles and more. She was a dancer under Lisa Timothy at Dance Force Academy and then at Project Dance for around 11 years before coming back to be a teacher.
Over the years, Sarah has had the opportunity to be on companys such as Synergy at UVU, Clog America, and American Folk Ensemble where she has performed in many countries including England, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and the Netherlands. After being on Herriman High School's dance company for 2 years and graduating with many honors, Sarah was accepted into UVU with a full ride scholarship and immediately began her degree in Dance Education. This past fall she completed her student teaching in the dance department at West Jordan high school, and in December she graduated with her Bachelor's degree and teaching license. She has been substitute teaching in middle and high schools all around the valley and is hoping for a permanent teaching job in the Fall. She has been teaching at Project Dance for about 3 seasons now and is excited for more to come.
