Sierra Brown has been a dancer, since the age of 3. Over the years, she has trained in various styles of dance including ; jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, modern and broadway. Through her training she has won multiple solo awards, championships, and scholarships. Sierra was a Taylorsville Chiron for 3 years and served as captain during her senior year. Sierra enjoyed a very successful high school career at Taylorsville,
culminating with winning both “ Miss Dance Drill Team USA” and “ Miss Dance Drill Team International” in 2012. Following her time as a Chiron, she became a member of the University of Utah Dance Team from 2012-2013. Along with her time spent dancing for the University of Utah, Sierra was also a “ So You Think You Can Dance, Vegas Week” finalist for the show’s 10th season. From there, she continued her training with the
Odyssey Dance Theater and at Pointe Academy. With the company, she had the pleasure of being a part of Odyssey’s “Thriller” and “Shut Up and Dance”. For the past 2 years, Sierra was a drill team assistant coach at Hunter High School. It was through this coaching experience that she found a love for choreography and teaching. Over those years, she was able to share this with many studios, soloists, camps and high schools in
both Texas, and Utah. Sierra is excited about the future that dance holds for her and even more excited to share her love of dance with all of those she has the pleasure to teach.
