Meet Marci LeSueur
Dance Instructor
Marci Whiting LeSueur began her love for the art of dance at a very young age beginning in Creative Dance. She developed a special interest for classical ballet and trained under the director and founder of Ballet West, William F. Christensen, as well as other teachers from his distinguished faculty. Marci danced with Ballet West conservatory at the University of Utah and spent many years in the summer intensive programs. She is trained in ballet, pointe, theatre dance, lyrical, and specializes in jazz technique. Marci continued her education as a dance major at Brigham Young University. She was a part of the national championship dance team the Cougarettes. Her love for the art of dance continued as she taught in many local Utah studios. She has done master classes, created choreography for high school dance companies, cheer teams and pieces for the BYU Cougarettes.. She was a dancer with Daryl Yeagers, Odyssey Dance Company. A team member of United Spirit Association. A Dancer with the Utah Jazz. She loves to spend time taking classes and continuing her education in the Arts. The Summer of 2017 she completed her Acrobatic Art certification. Recently, she became certified to teach Barre Fusion and is offering an adult class this year at Project Dance. Marci found a great love and joy that comes from teaching and working in the dance studio. She is excited about sharing her passion for the art of dance with Project Dance. Marci is married to the love of her life, Rich. Together they have 3 amazing kids who have been known to get together and dance like no one is watching in the kitchen.
