Bree Smedley has been in the dance world for over 20 years. She trained at Utah Dance Artists, was on dance company for 3 years in high school, and continued dancing in college as a dance major. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Dance Education from Utah Valley University at the end of 2024. While training in college, she performed with the Synergy Dance Company focusing on student choreography and guest choreography.

Outside of dance, she loves working in the musical theatre world. She performed in many shows throughout middle and high school and then choreographed for various shows including for community theaters like Empress Theater, Sandy Arts Guild, and Utah Pioneer Heritage Arts. She is currently choreographing an educational musical for the Utah Board of Education, assistant coaching Dance Company at Mountain Ridge High School and has taught at Project Dance since 2021 and loves every second of it. The kids at PD are incredible and the staff works so hard to create confident, strong, and powerful dancers!
