Brighten began dancing at just three years old at Heart N Soul Dance, where she trained for 14 years in jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, and lyrical. During her time at the studio, she earned multiple titles and awards as a soloist at competitions and conventions, and she also became certified in the RAD ballet program.

 

She later joined the Spanish Fork Drill Team, serving as captain in 2022–2023. While on the team, Brighten earned All-State honors and helped lead her team to multiple region and state titles in both dance and military.

 

In 2023, Brighten achieved a longtime goal by making the UVU Dance Team, where she is now finishing her third year. She has a deep love for dance and is passionate about helping the next generation build their skills, confidence, and passion for the art.
